Description: The painter Henryk F. Twardzik was born in Krakow, Poland and immigrated with his family to Boston at the age of four. He studied art at the Albright Gallery of Art in Buffalo and at the New England school of Design. As a painter he exhibited in galleries in Newburyport, Boston, Rockport and New York. This is a beautiful figure by him depicting a well dressed woman with a longing look on her face. Unlike his normal style of art, this is a pencil drawing as opposed to an oil painting. This thin painting is in excellent condition and is signed lower right. This drawing is matted and comes with frame. This is an absolutely magnificent piece by this artist!
